I have been interested in drawing people ever since I was a young child, and that has since grown into a real love of painting portraits. I especially love painting a picture that is a little different; one that tells a story and captures the character of the person.

In an age where photographs, phones and cameras are a daily part of life, I believe portraits have an even more special place - a more meaningful memory to treasure and display. Using Watercolour Inks brings my portraits a depth, as I build up the layers, really bringing them to life. All portraits are painted on high quality Arches watercolour paper, with Derwent inks; these are permanent once dried, ensuring that the memories will never fade.
